We’re looking for a Chef, this postion is based in Miami,FL. Qualified candidates will thrive in this hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Duties:

Supervises food preparation, cost quality, quantity inventories, portion control menu planning, recipes and testing of samples submitted by purchasing department; assist in planning monthly kitchen budget.
Oversees job methods and cooking standards to maintain a high quality of food and service.
Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including sanitation requirements and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Develops standard recipes for all dishes.
Plan menus with the sous chef.
Manage hiring and kitchen staff.
Execute the menu (by overseeing a chef de partie, or station chef, for example) and work any station on the line.
Inform wait staff about daily specials.
Ensure appealing plate presentation.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a Chef or Cook.
Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment (e.g. grillers and pizza makers)
Advanced knowledge of culinary, pizzas recipes, and pasta recipes.
Excellent time management abilities.
Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
A culinary school diploma is preferred.
Must have Food Safety and Sanitation Training.
